The Village of Mazon is located on U.S. Route 47, nine miles south of Interstate 80, in Grundy County. Population of 1,100 people, with city water and city sewer services. The Village has commercial and residential property available for development. The Village also has a “TIF District” to service any new development. Presently the commercial park has the following businesses: Peritus Plastics operates an injection molding business. The company employs 80 people. Systems Enterprise Corporation operates a machinery installation business and employs 15 people.
