The County of Grundy provides economic development incentives to new and expanding businesses in Grundy County. The County serves our residents and business community by providing public safety, justice, health, transit, emergency planning, roadway, and public records operations. The County has reduced the County tax rate two years in a row. Grundy County is situated just 60 minutes southwest of Chicago along Interstates 80 & 55. Grundy County offers a regional airport, Illinois river ports, and 4 Class 1 Railroads and measures approximately 430 square miles.
