Annual Dinner

The GEDC in conjunction with the Grundy County Chamber hosted its annual dinner on March 21, 2018.  There were several awards presented to businesses for their accomplishments and contributions to the Grundy County economy and community. Congratulations to this year’s winner.  The GEDC honored the following for their excellence in 2017:

Competitive Power Ventures

The GEDC is excited to announce that Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) is planning to construct a $1 billion, 1,100 MW generating station in Grundy County. The GEDC has been working with CPV since March of 2015 and are very happy that they have chosen Grundy County to build their new state-of-the-art facility.
